Obituary of Edward Augustine Moore

It is with a heavy heart, that the Moore family, announces the passing of Edward Augustine Moore, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, on December 10, 2025. Edward passed away in the loving presence of his family and dear friend, Charmaine. Edward is survived, and will be greatly missed, by his three children; Kaila, Devon (Kayla) and Jeremy and their mother, Mary; five sisters, Mary, Margie (Bill), Catherine (Terry), Bernice, Joan (Andy); brothers, Jim (Michele) and Paul (Margaret); two granddaughters, Kelsey and Mylah and his special friend, Charmaine. Edward also leaves to mourn his nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends. Edward is predeceased by his loving parents, Edward and Mary Moore and his nephew, Robin White. Edward was born in Harbour Grace and moved to Placentia in 1961. He attended Sacred Heart School, graduated from Laval High School and continued his studies at Memorial University, where he completed his Education Degree. Edward had a love for learning and a passion for teaching, which led to his travels abroad where he taught in Qatar. In his later years, Edward enjoyed travelling and spending the winter months relaxing in Florida with his special friend, Charmaine. Edward's interests were varied, consisting of golfing, moose hunting, playing crib, dancing to Newfoundland music and sharing home cooked meals with family. Edward had a large circle of friends and extended family who will always cherish his memory. As per Edward's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.
