50th Anniversary of Coombs Funeral Home, Ltd.

On this Saturday, May 9, 2026, we will respectfully acknowledge the 50th Anniversary of Coombs Funeral Home Ltd., Placentia.

Though we have made many changes to our building over the past 50 years, we take pride in knowing that we continue o provide dignified and respectful service. That will not change.

Most importantly, we believe that the greatest asset to our business, since the very beginning, are the many friendships made within our community.

We have been shown many acts of kindness, support and friendship, over our 50 years conducting business. But, the outpouring of compassion and friendship shown to our family, since Jeanette’s passing, on April 17th, 2026, is truly heartwarming.

Jeanette passed away, as quietly as she lived her life. She was only 19 years old when she first became a part of Coombs Funeral Home. Since that time, many people have expressed how kind and caring, she was to those she helped along the way. It has been a difficult journey, especially for myself, Andrew and Jennifer during Jeanette’s illness and subsequent passing. Our lives have changed, but the memories of Jeanette, will carry us through.

I, along with our children, Andrew and Jennifer, my brother Tommy and my sister, Ann Marie, are committed to providing service for generations to come. We extend our deepest gratitude to the families who have entrusted us with their loved ones, and to the community for its continued support.

This legacy is one we hold with great respect, and it remains our commitment to serve with the same integrity and compassion.

We invite you to an Open-House on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 from 1-3 p.m. at Coombs Funeral Home. We look forward to your visit as we acknowledge the years in business and the people who have been a part of our story.
