Obituary of Gerard O'Keefe

Gerard  Thomas  O'Keefe of Point Verde, Placentia age74 years passed away at the Health Science ICU, April 4, 2019. Predeceased by his late wife Kathleen on March 26, 2019, parents Tom and Selina O'Keefe, brother Patrick, sisters Angela and Anna.   He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons and daughters: Jerry (Yvonne), Lee Ann Ennis (Brian), Dana Shortall (Lenny), Jason (Yvonne) and Shannon (Tiffany), grandchildren: Chelsea, Chantal, Joshua (wife Nicky), Zachary, Whitney, Jonathan, JeannieO’Keefe, Allan Bale, Sara Bale, Maddison, Hunter and Thomas.  Great grandchildren: Jase and Seth,  sister in law Alice O'Keefe, brother in law Jim Geehan, also an extended circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends and great neighbours whom he enjoyed visiting and chatting with daily.  Our dad was a friendly, funny, loving, kind hearted, hard working  man to anyone that knew him.  We will miss him dearly and think of him often.  Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and staff at the Placentia Health Center, Health Science Emergency, CCU and ICU, for the extraordinary care you have provided to our dad.  Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia in the Chapel on Saturday from 2:00 - 9:00, with the prayer service taking place at 8:00 p,.m.
