Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Center on Thursday, July 25, 2019.
Predeceased by his father: John Upshall, mother: Mary (nee Boucher), brothers and sisters: Samuel, Charles, John, Thomas, Hazel and Hilda, his wife: Elizabeth Mable, grandson: Eugene James and son Andy.
 He leaves to mourn: Andy’s children: Heather (Dan Morahan) and Michael (Shannon), his son Gene ( wife Tatiana and step- daughter Ecaterina), grandchildren: Sarah Jane (Keith Vaters), Rebecca, Jessica, Miriam (Gaz McCarthy),, 13 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces and nephews: Willis Upshall (Joan), Maynard Upshall (Mary), Mabel Allen (Herb), Paul Ingram (Susan), David Ingram(Marie) and Lila Blundon (Cameron), sister in law Ivy Hancock (Spencer) , brother in law Eugene Warren (Leah),  his special friends: Nelson and Maria Pittman, also caregivers Shirley, Joan and Grace and a large circle of other relatives and friends.  Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Sunday, July 28 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 and Monday July 29 from 10:00 - 12:00,,,2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00.  Funeral Service to take place at Coombs Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, July 30 at 2:00 P.M.
Interment to take place at the Anglican Cemetery, Dunville.  Donations may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Church, P.O. BOX 241,Placentia, NL, A0B 2Y0
