Eric Christopher Shave

Born October 16, 1925 at Harbour Buffet, Placentia Bay, son of Christopher and Maud Shave.

Passed peacefully away on August 19, 2019 at the Placentia Health Center, age 93 years. 

Predeceased by his wife Annie (Milley), sons Freeman, Gentry, daughter Judy, granddaughter Shelley and daughters-in-law Genevieve and Grace Ann Shave.

Left with loving memories are his son Quinton of Dunville, grandchildren Cheryl (Sheldon) Dyke, Terry (Dawne) Shave, LeeAnn (Jamie) Connors, JoAnne (Ricky) Phillip's, Tammy (Derrick) Smith, Vanessa (Don) Matthews, Cory (Amanda) Smith, Kelly Duke, 18 great-grandchildren and Daughter-in-law Effie Shave. 

Eric is also survived by a large number of nieces, nephews and friends with whom he shared many wonderful memories. 

He will be resting at Coombs Funeral Home in Placentia on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Wednesday at 12 with service to follow at 2pm at Coombs Funeral Home Chapel. Internment to follow at Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia. 

Eric was an Honorary Lifetime Lions member. Donations may be made in his memory to The Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs or flowers will be gratefully accepted
