Obituary of Marion Templeman
Passed peacefully away at the Golden Heights Manor Nursing Home, Bonavista on September 22, 2019, Marion P. Templeman of Dunville, age 91 years. Predeceased by Husband Lloyd Harold Templeman; and, Parents, Tryphena and Samuel Fisher.
Marion was born in Bonavista on April 11, 1928. She and Lloyd moved to Dunville shortly after their marriage where both of them worked at the Naval Base in Argentia. She is remembered for her fun loving character, community involvement, love for family, and, dedication to her church. She was a member of the Dunville Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, Dunville Women’s Institute, and, a Life-long member of the United Church Women (UCW) at Grace United Church, Dunville.
Remembering her with love and thanksgiving to God for her life well lived are a large number of nieces and nephews, extended relatives, and circle of friends.
Many Thanks to the staff, nurses, and doctors at Bonavista Retirement Home, and, Golden Heights Manor Nursing Home for the special care they provided her.
Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation will take place at 2:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on September 24th and 25th.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on September 26th, Thursday, 2:00 pm at Grace United Church, Dunville. Internment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Dunville. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to Grace United Church P.O. Box 147 Dunville, NL A0B 1S0.
