To Leonard's Family. I wish to express my sincere condolences on Leonard's passing. I've known this gentleman since I was a child, when he worked at the Highway's depot with my father. That's back when the depot was located on Pt. Verde road. He was always, kind and pleasant to young and old. Sad to see him gone.... Patrick O'Keefe

To: The Greene and McGrath families
We were so saddened to hear of Leonard's passing. Uncle Leonard and Aunt Lizzie (mom's sister) visited often at our homestead on Topsail Road, Paradise and at our cabin at Mahers. We spent many summer holidays at their home in Placentia with our cousins, Joey, Eddie, Dennis, Roslyn, Marilyn and Sharon. Leonard was such a quiet, kind and caring gentleman. He always had a smile. May he rest in peace and join Aunt Lizzie and our parents. It is consoling to think that they are all together again. We are sorry we could not make the service due to COVID.
Love
Dot, Dave (Vicki), Carm (Gerry), Barb (Paul), Siegfried (Regina, deceased) and our families.

My sincerest condolences to Mr. McGrath's family. I met Mr. McGrath through my dad, Jim Houlihan. They both served on many committees together in their community through the Star, church, K of C, etc. My dad also wanted me to pass on his condolences & his regrets that he's not able to do so in person. He spoke of Mr. McGrath often. Thinking of you all!

I offer my condolences to Leonard’s family on the passing of a fine gentleman. He was a friend to my family when I was a child and that friendship continued through the years. He was a devoted church volunteer and an inspiration for those who served with him. He leaves a mark our faith community. Rest In Peace Leonard.

To the McGrath Family,
Leonard was fine gentlemen! He was my mom's cousin and a very good friend of my Dad. They worked together for years at the Highways. There was a good many days in the summer Leonard would stop and pick up myself and Paul hitch hiking out to Gooseberry Cove and we had it timed as well for the ride home. Later years I would see him out walking and stop and say hello. Certainly a man who served the people of Placentia and had a great faith! May he rest in peace!!

Condolences to Leonard's family on his passing.
Another fine McGrath man from Patrick's Cove 'gone'.
Andy always said when he was a youngster growing up in Point Lance that Leonard would take them for a drive in the Truck
which meant a lot to them at the time.
I remember Leonard as a true gentleman, and when I worked in Placentia he would always come talking to me and be interested in 'what are you driving now?
He had a great interest in Vehicles and how they changed over the years.
Rest in Peace Leonard will miss you out and about.
