Obituary of Raymond Hilary Traverse

Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on August 3, 2021 in the presence of his loving family Raymond Hilary Traverse of Fox Harbour age 87 years. Predeceased by his wife Bridget, parents Leo and Monica Traverse, parents in law Bill and Margaret Duke, siblings Leo, Ted, Martin, Stella and Betty Traverse, brothers in law Francis Healey and Jim Griffiths and members of the Traverse and Duke families. Leaving to mourn his enormous loss are daughters Wanda (Clarence) and Renee (Tony), sisters Kathleen (Garry) and Ethel Healey, grandchildren: Rihanna, Chad and Chelsea, great grandchildren: Ericka and Sabrina, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends especially his family at Beachside Manor. The family would like to thank the staff of the Health Science Center, Placentia Health Care Center and the staff of Beachside Manor for all they have done over the past 15 years, and to Liz Roache you always put a smile on his face even when he wasn’t feeling the best. Cremation has taken place. There is no visitation. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday August 7, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour @ 1:00 P.M. Private inurnment to take place at a later date.
