Passed quietly away at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on Saturday December 18, 2021, Martha Murray (Griffiths) of Fox Harbour.
Predeceased by her two sons: Johnny(1981) and Gerry (1987), her mother and father: Gerald and Mary, mother and father-in-law: James and Rebecca Murray, sister-in-laws: Paulette, Ada and Annie, brother-in-laws Thomas Cannon and Ben Whiffen, her brother: Jim (Shine),two baby sisters: Clara and Mary.
Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 56 years John, her loving daughter Kathleen Stuckey and her husband Gerry, her two grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Holly (Meagan) and Gerry (Blianca), brothers and sisters: Suse Bensman, Laura Cannon (Lee), Dot, Jane Sutton (Ray), Diane Hickey (Butch), Gerry (Joan) and her brothers wife Kathleen. Her in-laws's: Paddy (Isabel), Phonse (Anita), Peter, Matt, Jim, Rhodey(Terri), Tobe (Lauree Ann), Dave (Carol Ann), Raymond, Theresa and Becky, also a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Martha was extremely devoted to her faith. Through the many hard ships she had endured in her 73 years, she remained a loyal servants of God and sought his guidance in the darkest of times. She loved to pray and spent many hours at the church. She was also devoted to her community and spent many days fundraising for different functions especially for the church.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to the staff at the Lions Manor Nursing Home especially the staff on Unit 2 who cared for her the last 14 months.
Special thanks also to the nurses and staff in Palliative Care, who provided exceptional care in her final days.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, December 19, at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia from 5:00 -9:00.
Funeral Mass will take place at the Roman Catholic Church, Fox Harbour on Monday, December 20, @ 11:00 a,m,
Cremation to follow.
Inurnment in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast at a later date.
I am at peace, my soul is at Rest. Safe in the arms of my children!
