Rest In Peace Delores. Safe now from the troubles of this world. Daniel has always looked up to her and loved her so much, memories of her will be with him always. Her kindness, her giving nature, taking care of him and keeping him near her, spending time in the creamery with her. I’m lucky to have spent time with her as well, she was truly a treasure. My thoughts and prayers are with Stan, the O’Rourkes, and all her family during this difficult time. Sending so much love ❤️

Stan,Mark and Tim; May you always cherish the memories you have made with dearest Delores. She was a beautiful woman and loved her son’s dearly. I spent many summers working with Delores and her hard work was as evident at home as it was in her business. Her day never ended at 4. Delores, thank you for teaching me how to make a ‘ print of butter’ . I will never forget the hours spent churning, wrapping and labelling; but all while we laughed. God bless you. Delores, continue to guide your friends and family on this earth and laugh with us when we laugh. You will be dearly missed. Love always, Jennifer McGrath.

Rest In Peace. Your were a beautiful hard working women. A beautiful Mom and Grandmother. Always thinking about family. All the berry picking, boil ups on the beach, barbecues, traditions that you made for Daniel will never be forgotten. We shared so much and you were always a giver. I could write pages. So happy to have had you in our lives.

My sincere condolences to the O'Rourke and Tobin families on the passing of such a wonderful person. She was such a kind person, who loved to tell a story. I spent a good bit of time in Ship Cove as a child, and always felt welcome whenever I'd visit. My last visit was great, she was having a good day, as Stan put it, reminiscing of the the time I'd spend in the cove with my father. Later, I worked along side Delores in the creamery, staying late in the days to make prints with her, followed by a lunch before she'd bring me back home. A kind spirit that will surely be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Sincere condolences to all the Tobin and O'Rouke family on Delores passing, so sad to hear about her passing.
I remember Delores from the Cottage Hospital , she was always so full of energy and loved to have a good laugh she would brighten up any day .She loved her family and talked about them lots.
For years driving back and forth to work I felt secure knowing I could call on Delores and Stan if I got caught in a storm [ which did happen on several occasions].
Rest softly now beautiful woman.

❤️ Beautiful women, my friend and grandmother of my son. . Never forget Delores. 23 years of being close, chats, tea, berry picking. So many beach lobster boils. Learning how to make butter. Driving Daniel in the pick up to make him fall asleep. All the trips to the rock. Boil ups and barbecues. I can’t even say it all. We went from confidence as a young girl to the plates changing giving her confidence to me. So precious. Beautiful lady.
