Obituary of Robert Byrne

Robert Ambrose Raymond Byrne of Edmonton, formerly of Freshwater NL passed away suddenly on August 27, 2022. Predeceased by his father Robert C Byrne, stepfather Austin White, grandparents Myles Greene, Marie (Pretty)Pace, also Raymond Byrne & Margaret (Duke) Coady, Aunt Beth Greene and Uncle Paul Byrne. Survived by his mother Kim (Perry) DeMarco, Aunts Barbara (Jerome) Carroll, Brenda (Daryl) White, Judy (Charles) Johnson, Marie (David) Thompson, Geraldine (Leo) O'Keefe, Sheila(Hank) Worcester, Nancy (Serge) Barry, Uncles Basil Greene, Kevin (Florence) Greene, Mike (Delores) Byrne and Harold Byrne, and grandmother Sylvia McGrath. His extended family Michelle whom he affectionately called his 2nd mom (Gary), Brittany & Sarah Burt to whom he was like a big brother, many great uncles and great aunts, numerous cousins & friends Robert was a fun loving and caring man larger than life who lived his life to the fullest and often put his friends and family before himself. He was known for his big hardy laugh and always up for a great debate. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation. Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Coombs Funeral Home, from 11:00 - 2:00. Funeral Service will be held at Coombs Memorial Chapel following the visitation @ 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to take place in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
