Born on April 26, 1941, Allan was an intelligent, loving, faithful and supportive husband, Dad, Pop and Brother. He loved nothing more that spending time with his family and friends whether on a pond in the woods with his brothers or out in the garage repairing an engine. He was a talented man and well known for his abilities as a gifted mechanic who could fix things when it seemed impossible to many. He was a quiet gentleman of a few words but with a great sense of humour and just a bit of mischief. He always made every one of his children and grandchildren feel like they were his absolute favourite, He was a true role model who many looked up to.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Dad's remarkable caregivers, his niece Dianne Greene, and Marilyn Bavis and especially his daughter Kelly, who was his constant sidekick right to the end.
