Obituary of Tim Flynn

Timothy Gerard Flynn, age 53 years April 28, 1969 – April 25, 2023 It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of Tim Flynn of Colinet, NL formerly from Placentia NL. Tim passed peacefully away on April 25, 2023, at the Health Science Centre after sustaining critical injuries from a motorcycle accident. Left with precious memories are his daughters; Jessica Pearce (David) of St. John’s, NL, Courtney Pearce of St. John’s NL and Meggan Jan of Breslau ON, special grandchildren that meant the world to him Eleanor, Corrissa, Caleb and Liam; brothers: Sheldon (Sandra) of CBS, Rodney (Joan) of Brampton ON and Robert (Kelechi) of Brampton ON, Also left with precious memories and a broken heart his “Boo Boo” partner of 6 years Roxanne Stacey as well as her sons Stefan, Jordan and Jonathan and grandchildren Deaglan and Amelia. Tim also leaves behind several nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of family and friends. Tim was predeceased by his son Douglas Flynn and nephew Nathan Flynn, both of which left this world way to soon. Parents Douglas and Elizabeth (Betty) Flynn, mother of his daughters Jessica and Courtney: Christine (Chrissy) Pearce-Flynn and Mike Meaney. Tim was a great man who touch the hearts of many people. He was the man that once you meet him for the first time you will never forget him. His personality and outlook on life is what made him the man he was. His laugh is so distinct and very unforgettable, and you could hear him across the water in Colinet when he started. Tim loved spending time with his family and friends, and he will certainly be missed. The family of the late Tim Flynn would like to express their appreciation and thanks to all the staff of the ICU unit of the Health Science Centre. The care, love and support that you have given to Tim and shown to all his family during his stay will never be forgotten. You all went above and beyond in the care that was provided and for that we thank you. Cremation has taken place Visitation will take place in Coomba Funeral Home on Sunday, April 30, from: 10:00 - 4:00, with a service to begin at 4:00 @Coombs Memorial Chapel. Inurnment to take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Placentia
