Obituary of Linda Hapgood

Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Center on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 with her family by her side, Linda (Greene) Hapgood (formerly of Point Verde). Predeceased by her husband Robert Hapgood on March 2, 2023, her parents Reg and Regina Greene, her sister Sylvia (Adrian), parents in law Robert Hapgood and Rita Giddens (Needan), sister-in-law Eva Greene and brother -in-law Howard Vallis and nephew Owen Greene. Leaving to mourn her sisters: Jean Ann (Vince O'Keefe), Rose Vallis and Shirley(Barry Biggin), brothers: Harry (Frona), Matthew (Sylvia) Reginald, Albert (Sharon), Brendan (Kathy) many nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives and friends. Also left to mourn: sisters-in-law Bonnie (Fred, deceased), Sandra and Marion (Dave Patterson), brothers-in-law; Don (Sharon), Reg, Gerald (Sarah) and Shawn Giddens (Christina.) She will also remembered by her special friend Darlene Rose (Charlie) and caregivers; Linda, Emily and Liz. Linda was a very creative person who had many hidden talents, such as sewing, quilting and drawing. She dearly loved her cats and dogs. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Friday July 7 from: 2:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at Coombs Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to take place in Coombs Memorial Cemetery.
