Obituary of Patrick Spurvey

It is with saddened hearts the family of Patrick (Paddy) Spurvey announces his passing on July 30, 2023 at the age of 79.
Predeceased by his wife Virginia (Ginger) Spurvey, parents Dorothy and Edward Spurvey, and mother-in-law Francis Bradley.
Originally from Fox Harbour he moved to Brooklyn, NY as a child.
He then proceeded to meet his wife, Ginger, at Mergenthaler’s Linotype. He then went on to work for the government before retiring from the United States Postal Service in 2000.
Never one to sit still he also worked as a building superintendent before they decided to retire to Fox Harbour.
Patrick leaves to mourn his daughters Jennifer (Donny), Patricia, Amy; 2 granddaughters Aisling and Niamh; his sisters Barbara (Mike), Donna (Jim), Annette (Dan) and his brother Eddie (Gerri): and his grand doggies Makita, Linus and Casey.
He will also be leaving to mourn a large circle of relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia.
Visitation to take place on Wednesday, August 2 from 2PM – 5PM and 7PM - 9PM.
Funeral service 10:30AM, pending location. Interment at Fox Harbour Cemetery
