Obituary of James Hickey

It is with heavy hearts and tear filled eyes that we announce the passing of James (Jim) Hickey on March 12, 2024, surrounded by “his crowd”. James was a devoted husband, a cherished brother, and a father, who was loved beyond words. James was also the proud grandfather to two beautiful children who loved their Poppy Hickey very very much. He was predeceased by his father Paul and mother Catherine. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of loving memories his wife and bestfriend, Shirley; his adoring children, James (Scott), Paul, and Catherine (David) and Todd; his absolute world, Kayleigh and Hunter, and a very large extended circle of family and friends. Jim touched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth, compassion, generosity and strength. He was a friend to all and his memory will live on in their hearts forever. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Visitation will take place at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Thursday, March 14,2024 from 2:00 - 9:00 Funeral Services will be held at Coombs Memorial Chapel in Placentia on March 15, 2024 AT 1:00 p.m. May his soul rest in peace.
