Obituary of Veronica Tobin-Strickland

STRICKLAND, Veronica (Vera) It is with sadness that the family of Veronica (Vera) Strickland (Nee Tobin) announces her passing on July 11, 2021, at the age of 82 at St Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. Vera was born in Newfoundland and lived in Dunnville, Ontario. She is Pre-deceased by her parents (John and Louisa), husband (Andre), son (Cornelius), granddaughter (Pauline), sisters (Madonna & Josephine ,Gertrude Picco), and brothers (Cyril & Michael(Phillip). She is survived by her nine children - Brenda Lundrigan, Gertrude Thorne (Lloyd - Deceased), Louisa Schrieder (Rob), Joseph Lundrigan ( Fleur), Veronica Malia, Lawrence Lundrigan, Lori Ann Andress ( Rick), David Nash (Jeny), Francis Lundrigan (Leslie Ann), 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and five siblings - John Tobin (Myrtle), Leonard Tobin (Patricia), Susan Takacs, Regina Kippenhuck (Jack) & Louisa Tobin. At Vera’s request, there will be no memorial service. She will be laid to rest in the Roman Catholic , St.Bride's Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday 21, 2024
