Elsie Glenda Henderson (née Woodman)**
**October 11, 1950 – September 19, 2024**
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Glenda Henderson (née Woodman) on September 19, 2024, at the age of 73. Glenda, as she was affectionately known, was born on October 11, 1950, and lived a life full of love, laughter, and style.
Glenda was the embodiment of grace and humor. Always the best dressed in any room, she had an unmatched sense of style that reflected the polished and put-together person she was inside and out. Her quick wit and sharp sense of humor could brighten any day, making her presence both comforting and delightful.
Predeceased by her mother, Emma Woodman; her father, Rex Woodman Sr.; her brother, Selby Rex Woodman; her sister, Barbara Murphy; and her husbands, Harold Wiskin and Thomas Henderson, Glenda’s legacy of love continues to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Crystal Rose; her stepchildren, Kelly Henderson and Grant Henderson; her six cherished grandchildren, Ayden, Chloe, Mariya, Emelia, Imogen, and Adalyn; her siblings, Rex Woodman Jr. (Donna), Elaine Andrews (Lloyd), Maxine Lake (Ray), Helena Cranford (Danny), Rose Hedlund (Billy), Catherine Strickland (Derrick), and Joanne Brewer (Joe). She is also survived by a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who will forever cherish her memory.
Glenda moved to Ontario at the age of 16 and called it home for over five decades until age 69. Throughout her life, she nurtured deep connections with her family and friends, and her love for them was immeasurable.
We mourn her passing every day, but Glenda is and always will be loved more than words can ever express. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.
