It is with profound sadness and fond remembrance that the English family announces the sudden passing of Leon English on September 19th, 2024, at the age of 50. Known for his kind and caring nature, Leon will be missed by many. He was predeceased by his Nanny and Grandy Corcoran and his Nanny and Poppy English. Left to mourn with broken hearts, his pride and joy, his son Brody, his mother and father, Ralph and Margaret English, his brother Dwayne (Cheyenne), and his sister Vanessa Roche (John Paul). Leon also leaves to mourn his three nieces, Kathleen, Mary, and Georgia, along with Brody’s mom, Lori Coombs, and her mother and father, Calvin and Karen Coombs, and siblings Calvin (Audrey) and Cindy (Greg). He also leaves to mourn his relatives of the English and Corcoran family. Leon had a large circle of relatives and friends, with special mention of Junior Nash, Barry and Tonya Kehoe and their families. Leon moved away to British Columbia in April of 1993 with his brother Dwayne, where he began work as a Laborer on Construction Projects. In 2007 he started his very successful concrete repair and painting business, Real Deal Concrete. Hard work was no stranger to Leon. He made many sacrifices to provide the best life he could for his son, Brody. Leon provided unwavering generosity, support, and love. He was known for his giving heart and willingness to always lend a hand to those in need. He will be remembered for his strong exterior combined with his gentle, caring heart. Always eager to be a listening ear, share a story and a laugh, and bring happiness to all those around him. Leon will be resting at Holy Rosary Church in Branch on Sunday, October 6th and Monday October 7th with Christian burial on Tuesday, October 8th at 12:00 As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or a donation can be made to a charity of one’s choice
