Theresa,Stan and Coffee family -Wow!!! Mrs Coffee almost made it to the magical 100 but she left enough memories to last hundreds of years We will always remember the time we took our Uncle Jimmy (her first cousin from from Petite Forte) to visit her on her 95th b-day and we were swept away that on the next day she was booked to perform at a seniors home in Holyrood. Stan we were delighted to have you stay with us in Petite Forte and we much appreciated your invite to visit you down the shore. We were saddened to hear of her passing and we will always remember her passion for music, family and friends

To Eddie and all the Coffee Family; our sympathy and prayers are with you. The Lord has opened the heavenly gates to welcome your precious mom to his gracious place. As you suffer in restless grief may the words of Jesus to Matthew give you comfort. "All ye that are heavy ladened with sorrow come to me and I will give you rest." Her gift of music and song will remain with so many of us. A song she and you sang often, A Mother's Love is a Blessing, reflects the blessing she was in real life. May she now forever rest in peace.

Theresa. When I spoke to you today you said your mom was 98, but it's still sad. And it certainly is. It's always sad to lose a parent no matter how old they are, or how old we are. During the next few months you will have a lot of mixed feelings, i.e. sad because your Mom is gone, you will miss going to visit her at the Home, and most of all you and Stan can take great pride and satisfaction knowing that you did everything you could do for her when she was with you, and you are to be commended for that. I'm sure your Mom is so proud of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this really sad time. God Bless! Maudie and Martin

To the family of Gladys Coffey, especially Theresa: Your mom was such a special, gifted person. Whenever Dad would bring us to Cuslett for visits, Gladys's was definitely a highlight. There would always be a warm welcome and a banter of stories between her and Dad. You never knew what you might hear (True, or not, but almost always funny.) You should be so proud, Theresa, of the loving care that you and Stan gave her at your home for as long as it was possible. I will remember her, with a smile, standing waving goodbye outside the door in her yard in Cuslett. God bless and keep you all in His care. Rest in peace kind lady.

Eddie, Nora & family, Bill & I are so sorry to hear of your moms passing, she was one special lady. You can shed tears that she is gone, Or you can smile because she lived, You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back, Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see her Or you can be full of the love that you shared, You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that she is gone, Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on, You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

"Know that those who pass before us wish us peace." Your mother (grandmother, great-grandmother) packed a lot of living into her 98 years, and touched many with her music, stories and humor. I really hope that some of her stories get written down for the enjoyment of her great grandchildren. Teresa, I have always been grateful for the many visits you made to my Mother at Lion's Manor. It was sad to see you then having to visit your own mother there in her final years. May her soul rest in peace with God. May God bless you all...Jacky
