Jean,Lenora,Cynthia,Hilda,Adam, and Angie I was so saddened to hear of Leo's and your dad's passing. I am also so sorry I can't be there in person, but my pain is still so great I wouldn't be much of a comfort to you. Ed and Leo were great buddies and often shared many a story of work together. There is nothing I can say that will take your sadness away but know that myself and my family are feeling your sadness and pain, and that I hope in time will ease for us all. Replace your sadness with the many memories you all have of your dad and know that he is free of pain and suffering, this will help you smile even though you hearts are saddened. God bless you all and Rest in peace Leo. Mary Greene

Lenora,Cynthia,Hilda,Adam, and Angie We are so saddened to hear of your dad's passing. Dad and Leo were such good friends. Seeing your dad at the funeral home when our father passed just 2 months ago showed us all just how close they were and also how strong a man your father was. Fighting the same battle that had taken dad and being sick himself, he stood there and comforted us all. We find comfort in knowing that dad has his buddy and that they are together sharing many yarns about work as they always did and finally free of pain. Know that we are thinking of you all and feel your hearts breaking as you lay your dad to rest. Mr Ed's children(As Leo would always call dad) Spark,Gary,Dianne and Phillip Greene

The Coffey Family, It was with sadness that we learned that Leo had passed away. A gentle ,kind man that was always thoughtful of others. We met Leo when he moved to Jerseyside with Jean. Whenever I visited my mom's home who was sick at the time he would have a path shoveled in the winter and the grass cut in the summer to her gate for me. I'll never forget his kindness and his smile that would brighten your day. Leo's memory will remain in our hearts forever. I'm sure he was loved by many, but will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time in your lives. R.I.P. dear Leo

As a nephew of Leo I quickly learned he was a fun guy to be around. He would always be making you laugh with some stories of the past and seem to make little things seem real big to a youngster like me. I'm sure he tossed in the odd tale to keep my eyes big! I remember when I was a kid and Leo was driving truck. He put me up in the driver's seat of a big tractor, started it up and let me drive it. It was then I learned how to back up a tractor trailer by using the mirrors and learning the basics of steering. I often think of him when I am backing up my own trailer years later. The past few years Leo has had struggles but has also been blessed with a new partner in his life. Jean was with Leo through thick and thin. They shared some good times and were like two teenagers rarely separated. She was very good for Leo and was very much his shining light in life. I hope Leo's family, kids, and siblings and Jean find comfort in knowing he is at peace with no pain and most of all knowing that Leo was one of the nice guys in this world. God bless

Lenora, Cindy, Hilda, Adam and Angie Laura: I am thinking of you all today with a heavy heart. I hope you find comfort in the memories and the love you shared with your Dad. It is obvious that you have been taking exceptionally good care of him since he got sick, and that you have done everything in your power to keep him comfortable during his illness. He loved you all and was very proud of each of you. Jean: please accept our heartfelt condolences. I am sorry for your loss and appreciate the devotion and commitment you had for Uncle Leo. Your time together was too short. Granny: I am sorry you had to say good-bye to one of your children like this. I know it’s not the way things are supposed to be. I am sure you will miss him, but Leo is in a better place today, free of pain and in the arms of God. Daddy: I hope you find comfort in remembering the many conversations you had with Leo, and the laughs you had while drinking many cups of tea. Wish I could be there to help say Good-bye. It will be strange going home and not visiting “the Pickle”. Love to you all, God Bless, Liz
