To all the Family of Mr.Warren... Please accept my sympathy for the passing of Nat. My father worked in Long Harbour with Nat for many years. I can remember visiting his house many times. Ethel and Nat were very kind to me and to anyone who entered their house. After living away for many years I returned home and went to work at the Lions Manor Nursing home. Ethel was then a Patient there. Every day, in fact several times a day Nat would come to see her. I remember the loving care he gave to her. I already knew that Nat was a special man. But after seeing the care and attention he gave to ethel, I had to rethink special and say he was a extraordinary. He held her hand for hours and talked to her, even though she could not talk back, Nat knew by the look in her eye what she wanted and what she was trying to say to him. He brushed her hair and fed her Mary Browns which she loved. Everytime he left you could see the saddness in his eyes as he hated to leave her there alone. I remember thinking that this was the kind of love you could only dream of having. Nat was a wonderful man and I miss not running into him any more to have our little chats. Words could never do justice to such and wonderful man, I know his passing must create a large void in all your lives. But I know he is happy now, as he is home again with his beloved Ethel. I couldn't count how many times he told me he missed her and that no matter how long she was gone it never made the loss any easier. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
