MCCARTHY, Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Power)- July 27, 1942 - March 26, 2007. Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center, St. John's, Betty McCarthy, of Dunville, Placentia Bay. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Francis; her children: George (Karen and their children Ronan and Maddison), Francis (Maria), Danny (Sarah and their children Eoghan and Claire) and Nancy; two sisters-in-law: Donna Webber and Nora McCarthy; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
