God looked around his Garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain. And knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes, He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly. When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain, We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again. You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide, You live on through your children, you're always by there side. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you on the day God called you home

When day seems dark and dreary and self pity runs its course,Lets quickly counteract it with a mighty prayerful force...For we can ask the Master in a simple humble way to lift the gloom and muddle and shed joy upon our day.Awakened sense will ponder over all the blessings nigh then thought will be uplifted as the darkness passes by.

Dad; God took the strength of a mountain, the majesty of a tree, the warmth of a summer sun, the calm of a quiet sea. The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, the wisdom of the ages, the power of the eagles flight. He combined all these qualities and his masterpiece was complete and he called it "DAD" I will forever miss you, dear sweet, loving father.

My GrandFather was a hardworking and loving man that gave much to this world. Through his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren his life will always flow and a part of him will always be with us. He gave many wonderful gifts to this world. _____ One wonderful gift he gave me as well as my children, Michelle and Crystal, and my grandchildren Katie, Alexis and Conner was his daughter, my mother, Janet Yates. She gave me and my sister a truly wonderful upbringing and his memories are always alive in her. As a Mother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother she will pass on his memory and love to us all. _____ I've thought of him many times over the years and there has never been a day that my mother did not speak of him. His memory will not fade. _____ They say that God works in mysterious ways. There is nothing mysterious in his decision to take my grandfather from his pain and suffering and carry him off on the wings of angels. He rests now in a better place than any of us. Come together and celebrate his life. Be together and give thanks for his passage on to heaven. My prayers are with all of you. _______ Ricky

While I didn't get the opportunity to know my great grandfather as well as I would have wished, I am glad to have met him and to be able to see what a wonderful man he was. The world has lost a beautiful soul, but I know that in some way he will always be with us. My condolences to the rest of the family. May we always remember the kind and wonderful spirit that has left us. With love, Crystal (Great granddaughter through Janet)

My husband's grandfather...I only had the pleasure of meeting him once, but it felt more like I'd known him all my life. With that in mind, I'd like to share a poem. Do not stand at my grave and weep Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft starlight at night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die! Mary Frye (1932) He is with the Lord now. May God bless and keep you all safe. Love always, Leisa
