Barbara,
My heart hurts - it's hard to believe I won't get the chance to give you a call that you won't be here to chat with and spend time with. I'll always treasure the memories I have of you, the family outings, parties and games of rumoli that we had and which you enjoyed so much. Oh how we laughed, joked with and about each other. I hope you know how much Raymond and I appreciated you're looking after Robert and Stacy so we both could go on a couple of trips, they enjoyed you're being there, it gave them a break from having to be chastised. One of the things I loved when I was younger staying at your house overnight, when Dan worked -- lots of candy, watching TV and no one telling me what to do. I'll always remember your patience, your kindness and your thoughtfulness. No one has or will ever have a sister that will measure up to you. You always held a special place in my heart and always will. There are no words to describe the loss that I feel, just know that I'll forever love you and miss you, and certainly never forget you.
Maxine

Aunt Barb, There have been so many times in the past year that I've wished I could see you one last time. You meant a great deal to us and I hope that you knew that. I used to love when you would visit our house when I was a kid. You were so much fun! I remember the time when you and Rose were trying to teach Mom and me how to make bread! I'll always remember your laugh. You were always so giving to everyone around you. I hope that you are at peace. Love always, Stacy, Dave and Tyler

I was very saddened to hear of Barbara's passing. Over the past few months I have been thinking off her, and all off you often. Since moving away from Dunville I don't get to see my past friends and family as often as I would like. When I do run into someone by chance it always brings back fond memories. The last time I spoke with Barbara we had a great chat about growing up in Dunville and how good it was to have cousins living close to each other. To the Woodman and Murphy families my deepest sympathy.

Dan, It doesn't seem like that long ago we were neighbours on Fort Louie Street in Jerseyside back in the 70's. As a teenager, I remember keeping an eye to Dan Jr. while you and Barb would be playing in the band or out enjoying the company of friends. You and Barb were always kind and generous to my brothers and I, especially to Wayne when it came to the music scene. In time we all when our separate ways, but fond memories of life on the street remain to this day. Barb was a good person...she'll be missed. God bless.

Do extend my condolences to your family, and let them know you and they are in my thoghts and prayers. May God's peace stay with you and be a source of strength in the days to come. To Members of the Woodman family: On behalf of our entire Edmunds family please accept our condolences at this very difficult time. At times like this my mind goes back to the earlier years growing up in Dunville where the EDMUNDS family was all boys with 1 girl and the WOODMAN family was all girls with 1 boy. This created quiet a different relationship as everyone from our family seemed to have a special connection with everyone from your family. Hopefully, in the days ahead we will be able to reminisce some of these fun times again while recalling fond memories of Barbara. I do recall the times when she hopped on back of Dan's motorcycle and cruised out the road. My poor mom (MAME) would just look and say "Sacred Heart of Jesus if her poor mom (EMMA) could only see Barbara now!" It is our hope that Barbara is at peace now and no longer having to endure the pains of the past. Mike(MIKEY)Edmunds

Friends and Family of Barb, I, like so many others was deeply shocked to hear of Barb's passing. Although our acquaintance was that of an academic nature well over 10 years ago, memories of a nonjudgemental, fun loving lady linger as if it were only yesterday. We were pretty well all 'mature' students overwhelmned with the curiosity of what the techy computer world had to offer. However, upon the discovery of the magic of 'networking' and its ability to send a message from one computer to another, I thought of getting Barb real good, and that I did. Not a sound in class when all of a sudden Barb gets a 'beep' and a message advising her to 'abort immediately as the computer was going to blow'. Well, needless to say, silence was no longer golden as the entire wing of the school broke into laughter once the word spread around what was happening in our room. Barb was such a sport about it laughing the loudest and longest as this particular incident was never forgotten.....and neither will you Barb...Rest in Peace!! Monica (Shea)

Rose & Family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Barbara. Rose, from talking to you over the past few months while your sister was in hospital, you told me she had gone through a great deal of pain. Well now she is longer suffering and is resting at peace with our Lord. Keep the memories alive you have of your dear sister. I will remember you and your family in my thoughts and prayers over the coming days. May Barbara rest in the peace of Christ. God Bless, Chris Gaulton This is a little poem I found online: I do believe!! There is nothing I can do, to make her come back There are no words I can say, that can replace her words you long to hear There are no answers I can give that will satisfy your questions, There is not another soul I can introduce to you, That will ever replace hers And there is no love I can offer you That will ever replace the love you shared I cannot promise your broken heart Will ever be complete, I will not say that it could have been worse I will not deny that it was a tragedy I will not lie and tell you she will be back She never really left I do promise you she hears you when you speak I will say she loves you no matter what the distance I will not deny she is in a better place And will not lie she is waiting to greet you someday She is every step you take She is everything you do She is the air you breathe She is every beat of your heart She is like the wind, you cannot see her ... but you will always feel her
