Obituary of Lillian Antle

Antle, Lillian (nee Whittle) - passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Chancellor Park, surrounded by her loving family, Lillian Antle, formerly of Placentia, age 97 years. Predeceased by her husband Augustine (May 1976); sisters, Melita Gabriel, Doris Ennis and Myrtle Lye; brothers, William Whittle, Frank Whittle and Pius Whittle. Left with fond and precious memories, her son Kevin (Leonie); daughters, Barbara Anne Burke (Kevin), Elizabeth (Betty) Tibbo (Don); brother, Maxwell Whittle and her special daughter-in-law, Leonie Antle; 6 grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Natasha, Vanessa, Mark and Karla; 5 great-grandchildren; special friends, Paula, Debbie and Bernadette, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and staff and friends at North Pond Manor. Special thanks to the staff at Chancellor Park for the unwavering warm and tender care that kept our gentle mom smiling and at peace. The compassion and professionalism shown by the staff, towards the family, helped tremendously to ease our loss. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m., Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. Interment to follow at Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
