Obituary of Julia Greene

GREENE, Julia (nee Power)- Passed peacefully away at Lion's Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on February 5, 2008 of Pt. Verde, Placentia, formerly of Branch, S.M.B., age 82 years. Left with fond memories are her loving and devoted husband of 56 years Brian; her children Margie (Varrick Cooper), Janet (Ray Bell), Rosanne, Charlie (Mary), Brian (Judi), Regina (Mike McGrath), Emmie, Ronnie (Lisa) and thirteen grandchildren; sisters Lena Cunningham (Stu), Sister Carmelita Power, RSM; and a large circle of family and friends especially Elaine Vitali and Wilma Greene (Denis Bennett). Predeceased by her parents George and Emma Power (nee Downey); her brother Gerald; sisters Mary (Tom Greene), Cecilia (Jim Campbell) and Sister Consilio Power, RSM. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. & 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral Mass to take place 11 a.m. on Friday, February 8 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. Interment to follow at Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia. The family would like to acknowledge the high level of care and dedication provided by the Staff at Lion's Manor Nursing Home, Placentia.
