Careen, Richard - May 24, 1934 - October 3, 2014 Passed peacefully away at the Placentia Health Care Center on Friday October 3, 2014 age 80 of St. Bride's. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (April 11, 2014) , son Ricky (May 21, 1981), parents Joe & Katie Careen, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children Bill (Helen), Sara, Joe (Jackie), Keith, Wanda (Darren), Trudy, Larry, Glen (Edith), and Peter. Cherished by his 21 grandchildren Janice, Ricky, Jake, Michael, Lauren, Carrie, Pat, Ashley, Sam, Kaylah, Nick, Amy, Katie, Bailey, Morgan, Jenna, Larry, Letticia, Breanna, Zach, and Ally; 6 great grandchildren, brothers Harold (Sarah) Jimmy (Patricia) ,Peter, Andy (Agnes), Phil (Yvonne), sisters Gertrude, Margaret, Nellie (Paddy) Carmel (John), Agnes (Harold) and Selina and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride's on Saturday & Sunday. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride's on Monday October 6, 2014 at a time to be given later. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Bride's. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to refurbish the Palliative Care Room at the Placentia Health Care Center.
