Obituary of Maria Adams

Wakeham-Adams, Maria Passed peacefully away at the Lions Manor in Placentia on November 2nd. 2014 at the age of 92. She is predeceased by her husband George Adams in 2009. Also her parents James and Cecilia Wakeham, her brothers; Tom (Nellie-deceased), Vince(Lillian-deceased), Paul, Howard(Almena-deceased). Her sisters; Margaret(Allan-deceased) and Maude, her sister-in-law Mary Wakeham, nephew; Patrick Wakeham and nieces Sharon and Elaine Wakeham. Leaving to mourn her sister: Sr. Lillian Wakeham(Presentation Convent), brothers; James and Fred(Mel). Sisters-in-law; Kathleen Wakeham, Evelyn Morton and Elizabeth Storey. Her devoted cousin and caregiver Zita Morgan, also her nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Maria was a very witty conversationalist. She was a great cook, loved a party and had a smile that could light up a room. We will miss her and remember her with affection. Waking at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Monday, Nov. 3rd. from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4th. at the Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00am, interment to follow at Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia.
