Dear John, Sharon, Lillian, Stevie, Pat and Sean, We were very sad to hear of Catherine's passing. She was such a lovely lady. My fondest memories of her were talking to her at "the shop", over on "the bank" or into Mrs. Annie's. I especially remember myself and Sheila having a spat over some foolish little thing and we would part and Catherine would say to us, "oh, yee'll be made up this evening" and she was right. She always had a word of encouragement and was always interested in what we were doing as children. To John and family, both myself and Danny offer our deepest condolences at this very difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was deeply saddened when I heard of Catherine's passing. She was certainly a central figure in Branch and will be missed. Catherine was one of the most sincere, compassionate people I have ever known. She was a true lady in every sense of the word. I used to love to go to the shop on Saturday nights, just to have a chat. She had the most interesting stories about growing up in Branch. I know this is a difficult time but hope you take some comfort in knowing that others share your sense of loss. God bless.

John and Family: Deepest sympathy to you on the death of Catherine. I did not know she died until late this afternoon, Thursday. She was the most compassionate and caring person I ever met. I have known her for about fifty-three years, and she was one of my closest and dearest friends. She was loyal, trustworthy and dependable, and admired by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She kept me amused with all the stories from Branch, and I will never forget her kindness to me. Jim sends condolences as well, and we hope you get through this sad time.

John and family, I was so sad to hear of Catherine's passing. There are certain people in your life outside of your family who touch your heart in a special way and Catherine was one of those people. Always there with a kind word, a positive attitude and a friendly smile. My mother spoke of her often as she relied on Catherine for advice in trying times. She was a true lady indeed and an icon of our community. Please take comfort in the fact that she is no longer in pain and she is together with the Lord. God bless. Theresa and Pat McGrath

Mr. John and family; Mrs. Catherine was such a huge part of growing up. Going to the store wouldn't be the same without seeing her behind the counter; asking how the crowd was, how school was going, or just inquiring about what was new in your life. She was genuinely interested in people, and for that reason she left an impression on everyone who knew her. Mrs. Catherine was such a sweet and kind person. Branch has lost one of its central figures now that she is gone, but she will never be forgotten. We are thinking of you all at this time and keeping you in our prayers.
