Adams, George --Passed away at the Placentia Health Care Center on Thursday, August 20,2009 George Adams, age 83of Placentia. Predeceased by his parents William & Isabelle Adams. He leaves to mourn his wife Marie, his sisters Elizabeth Storey (Gloucester, England) & Evelyn Morton (Sunderland, England), special friend Zita Morgan, Placentia and a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Friday. A Celebration of George's life will be held at Coombs Funeral Home on August 21 from 7- 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Saturday August 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, Placentia. Cremation to follow. Inurment in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in George's memory to the SPCA.
