Please accept our thoughts and prayers for a wonderful person. Martin has a few yarns about John's visits to Neddy-Joe's, and I am sure that there is no shortage of stories that people can share about John, but the past 39 years, every time John and I met we reminisced about one in particular. I was five and heading to the old school up from Joey's store, when I fell and skinned my knee...long story short, it was John Biggie to the rescue! He wiped my tears, cleaned my knee, put on a band-aid and then walked me home. Ever since that day, I called him Dr. John, and he always got a chuckle out of that moniker. May you all find comfort in the memories you have been blessed to have with John.
