Mullins, Peter Patrick (Pete) August 9, 1935 - April 3, 2010. Pete began his journey on August 9, 1935 in Fox Harbour, Placentia Bay. He was a strong, courageous individual who faced the challenges and adventures throughout his life with conviction and purpose. The loss of his father as a boy, and subsequent commitment to ensure his mother's care and later a lengthy illness that slowly diminished his quality of life were all faced with unwavering faith and determination. He always felt that his greatest achievements were his children to whom he dedicated himself totally. On April 3, 2010, surrounded by his adoring family, Pete completed this phase of his journey and began a new one to be reunited with his parents, Patrick and Ellen, his sisters Bridget, Mary, Margaret, Sarah, Norah, his twin brother Matthew and his best buddies, grandpuppies Roland and Maggie. Celebrating his life and legacy of love and dedication are his treasured wife of 45 years, Rosemarie (Collins); his children, Susan and Dean, and Sheldon and Pamela; his pride and joy, grandson Nathan; his beloved sister Rebecca Murray, and his grandpuppies Kasey, Sofie, Sammy and Molly. He will be remembered by the Mullins and Collins families, his friends and colleagues, and the many people whose lives he touched throughout his many years as a Boy Scout leader, volunteer firefighter, community volunteer, as a member of the Star of the Sea Association and the Knights of Columbus, his career with Albright &Wilson and later those he met throughout his illness.
