Greene, Augustine J. --September 13, 1931 - November 30, 2010" Passed away on November 30, 2010, at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia surrounded by his family and friends after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease Augustine J. Greene age 79 of Point Verde, Placentia. Predeceased by his son Johnnie, his parents Helen and Jack, brothers Stan and Tom, brother in law William Chebba. Left to mourn with loving and thoughtful memories his wife of fifty three years Bridget (Bea), his children Terry (Caroline), Eddy (Christine), Gussie (Susan), Darren (Wanda), Donna McGrath (Eugene), and Diane Hamilton (Bill), his sisters Mildred Lemos (Charlie), and Jane Chebba, seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Anyone that knew Gus, knew how much he enjoyed the outdoors. He spent a lot of his time working hard at his sawmill and just loved to make those around him laugh. he will be forever remembered by his grandchildren for the songs that he sang, and for those "one of a kind" dance moves that he had. the responsibilities of a caregiver. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, on Wednesday & Thursday from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 . Funeral Mass to be held at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia on Friday December 3 at 11:00 a.m., Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery,.
