Passed away at the Placentia Health Care Center on July 21, 2011, Julia Best, formerly of Red Island & Southern Harbour, age 97 years. Predeceased by first husband Mike Lambe, and her second husband Malcolm Best. She leaves to mourn her family Victor Lambe, Ft McMurray, Michael Norman (Helen), Southern Harbour, brothers Paddy Carroll (Nellie) & Cyril Carroll (Margaret), sister Elizabeth Spurvey, special friend Margaret Ann McFarlane, the staff and residents of Beachside Manor, Placentia, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, on Friday from 12:00 - 10:00 & Saturday from 9:00 - 1:00, Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia on Saturday July 23, 2011 at 2:00p.m., Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia.
