O'Keefe, Gertrude-- Passed suddenly but peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Monday August 8, 2011, Gertrude (Moriarity) O'Keefe of Placentia in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband Cyril, son Edgar, sisters Geralding St. Croix, Clara Flemming & Janey Tobin, brothers Patrick & Clem, and son in law Leo Kennedy. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her children Geralding (George Cantwell), Regina (Dave Hiscock), Barb (Edgar McGrath), Liz, Carmel (Gerry Dunne), Cyril Jr. (Paula), and Wayne (Colette), her grandchildren Jeffrey, Nick, Timmy, Jennifer, Tina, Jason, Stephen, Kim, Christine, Lucas, April, Curtis, Matthew, Michelle & Ashleigh, 12 great grandchildren, brother James Moriarity, sister in laws Anne Walsh, Rita Eason & Mona O'Keefe and a large circle of other relatives and friends including the residents and staff of Beachside Manor, Placentia. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Wednesday from 11:00 - 9:00. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday August 11 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00 A.M. with interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Big Barasway.
