CONWAY, Lena (nee Conway) - passed peacefully away at Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on Saturday, August 20, 2011 of St. Bride's, Placentia Bay, aged 93 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jim (September 14, 2002); her brothers and her special sister, Mary (December 27, 2009). Leaving to mourn sisters-in-law, Catherine, Annie, Christabel, Rita and Theresa; also a large number of nieces and nephews and their extended families, especially her care givers, George and Patricia Conway; and her special friends at Meadow Brook Villa, where she resided for 16 years. Special thanks to the staff at Placentia Hospital and Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia. Resting at Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride's. Funeral Mass to take place 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride's. Internment to follow at Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Bride's. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to Sacred Heart Church, St. Bride's. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia.
