Passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 Jean Higdon (nee Kirkland) of Dunville age 73 years. Predeceased by her parents Wallace & Stella (Perchard) Kirkland, and the father of their children Gordon Higdon.
She leaves to mourn her partner Chris Woodman, her sons and daughters Sharon (Pete Brown), Scott (Marcie), Wanda Lee (Craig Brooks) and Geoffrey (Marc Rowsell), grandchildren Chloe, Katie, Mallory, Sophia and Chayse, her brother Ralph Kirkland(Vina), nephews Stephen & Mark, also a large number of other relatives and friends especially her friends Lorraine Hennifent and Carrie McDougal, and the many friends from the Community groups, such as the Womans Institute of Dunville, the Dunville Lions Club, her dart league friends from the Star Hall, and the Dunville Lions Club, she will be also dearly missed by her pets Suzy & Puss. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home on Monday, April 10, from 7-9 and Tuesday April 11 from 2 - 9 . Funeral Service to take place at Grace United Church, Dunville on Wednesday April 12, at 1100 A.M. Interment to follow in Coombs Memorial Cemetery, Southeast.
