Mrs Pittman was a dear friend to mom and myself. When her husband was in The Grace hospital with dad George Foote 14-15 years ago, mom and Mrs Pittman became good friends. We visited her at her home and at the Placentia hospital and she was always so sweet and happy to see us. I'm sure she has many friends who will miss her. Rest in peace Mrs. Pittman.

So sorry to hear of Marcella’s passing. She was a cousin of my mom (Marion Fitzpatrick) of Bay du Nord. We visited her often in the seventies when we lived in Harbour Grace and a few times since moving to the west coast. I also spoke with her on the phone several times over the years. She was a wonderful lady with a very kind heart and welcomed visitors with open arms. She will be remembered in our prayers. Our condolences to her nephew, Richard and her large circle of friends in Placentia, especially her former neighbor,Leigh Ann Power and her family.

So sorry to hear of Marcellas passing. She was a cousin of my dad's and a great friend of my moms. Will be missed by many great friends.
My mom Pearl Farrell was a friend since childhood in Bay du Nord. They were born the same year, only a month apart. Even though they lived in different provinces they kept in close contact. Both had knitting in common. My mom will miss your chats by phone Marcella. Rest in peace Marcel as we all knew her.

To Rita, Shirley and the large circle of Mrs. Pittman's loved ones,
Thank you for opening your hearts and entrusting a special lady like Mrs. Pittman into our care at Beachside Manor. The time I spent getting to know Mrs. Pittman was a beautiful season in my life I will hold very close to my heart. Your loved one was simply a joy. As she shared the story of her life with me I quickly was inspired by her strength, courage and positivity in all she overcame. Mrs. Pittman always had a smile and a 'Yes Dear or Hello Dear' and found such pride in knitting whether it be a bag of dish cloths for my new home or an absolutely perfect pink baby sweater. While you feel grief on earth as you say goodbye to your friend whom had a contagious love may you also find peace knowing the legacy she left behind was one that will never be forgotten and may you feel a sense of joy knowing she has already begun a new life in paradise.

Sending out my condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Pittman,
Mrs. Pittman ,a beautiful person of strong faith cherished her family and friends. I have many fond memories of her and Mr. Pittman's visits to my parent's house in Patrick's Cove. After my parents and Mr. Pittman passed away we kept contact and I always enjoyed visiting her and having a cup of tea. She was a true lady in every sense of the word. Her kindness (her beautiful dish cloths), witty sense of humor and loyalty to those who loved her was a blessing . I am currently away on holidays (out of the country) and so sorry I couldn't be home for the wake/funeral. I kissed her goodbye on December 30th and she politely replied "Thanks for coming" . I am sure she sailed straight into heaven.
May she Rest in Peace, Good bye my friend. xoxo Olive McGrath English
