It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a dear husband and father.
Dennis Joseph Gardiner, age 50 years’ young of Point Lance, SMB. Dennis is predeceased by his baby daughter, Brenda and his father, Din Gardiner. Dennis leaves to mourn his loving wife Cathie and his three beautiful daughters that he cherished dearly, Alyssha (Kevin), Brittany and Sheyenne. His beloved mother, Mary, sisters Maude (Tommy), Margie (Bob), and Marie (Melvin), his brothers Maurice (Betty), Philip (Ellen) and Mike (Charmaine), brothers in law Bradley and Jimmy (Tania), sister in law (Lisa(Gerry)), his mother and father in law, Dave and Elizabeth Corcoran. Dennis also leaves to mourn two special nieces, Miranda and Anna, his nieces and nephews, Natasha, Alvin, Chad, Timmy, Luke, Mitchell, Gerard, Robert, Edward, Patrick, Kyle, Sammi and Ozzy. Also, a large circle of relatives and friends are grieving.
Dennis was a devoted loving husband and father. He loved his family and took so much pride in them. His wife and girls were his everything and he meant the world to them.
Hard work was no stranger. He made sacrifices every day for his family. His love was for the fishery and on the water. Being on the boat was his happy place.
Dennis loved life and he lived everyday as if it were his last. His love for music was enormous and his laughthat came from the pit of stomach was contagious and will be missed forever.
Visitation will take place at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Point Lance: Tuesday evening, all day Wednesday. Prayer Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Public Visitation on Thursday is from 10:00 - 1200 only. AFTER 12 IS FOR FAMILY ONLY. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
