Obituary of Linda Careen
Linda M Careen, age 56 died peacefully on Friday May 3rd 2019 at Carbonear General Hospital surrounded by family.
Linda leaves to mourn by her son (Tyler), husband (Gord), step daughter Kayla, Father (Neil), sisters (Barbara, Elaine, Christine, Virginia), brothers (Wayne, Paul, Shawn) and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Linda grew up in Point Lance and left home at the age of 19 to serve her country both in Canada and overseas, when she returned to CFS St Johns, she recruited 3 of her siblings to follow in her footsteps to serve this great country.
Linda returned home to live permanently 5 years ago, and her son Tyler was quick to follow.
Linda always had a fascination about angels and always believed they were always surrounding her, she is now flying free with a very special angel called “mom” ( Rosemary Careen) May they both RIP together.
Linda was well known amongst family and friends for her sparkle, she told everyone close to her, especially her son Tyler “ Never let anyone dull your sparkle”. She loved this and when ever Linda walked into any room, you could not help but notice her sparkle, and her beautiful smile.
Family and friends are invited to Mary Queen of Peace Church, Point Lance for a Memorial Service in her honor on Tuesday, May 7th beginning at 11:00 A.M. Funeral Mass will take place at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Point Lance on May 7th at 2:00 P.M.
