Kitty, Caity ,Mrs. Griffin & Griffin families we were saddened to hear of Steve's passing. I have lots of great memories of Steve through the years of playing ball, hockey, hunting and growing up on the hill in general. My only trip back to Isle au Valen was with Steve in the early eighties. Just some of the memories that I will always cherish. I hope all the great memories he leaves to you all you will cherish them and that they will bring you great comfort in the days ahead. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My Sincere Condolences To Aunt Kitty and Caity and Mrs Griffin and all The Griffin Family! Steve was a very Quiet Man but always there to have a chat about Caity his pride and joy or tell me something funny about Kitty and of course Laicey! Argentia was a subject he loved to chat about so I made sure when I called to ask him a question about Argentia because his knowledge on the history was unreal could listen to him for hours! I am so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. I worked with Steve and I can honestly say he was one of the nicest people and hardest worker I have ever worked with. I considered Steve a friend and loved to have a chat with him at work and when we finished work. I loved our chats about hockey and his knowledge of Argentia was second to none. Condolences to Kitty and the Griffins. I’ve fond memories of Steve playing softball or the odd game of hockey on the pond and even though he was a few years older he always had such a genuine down to earth demeanor and was very much inclusive of us young bucks and such a good sport. My heart goes out to Mrs. Anne and all the family in their grieving.
