Obituary of Stephen Griffin

Stephen Griffin, Age 65 Years Freshwater, Placentia Bay May 8, 1955 - February 5, 2021 Passed peacefully away in the arms of his loving and devoted wife and daughter, surrounded by family. Steve was a hard working family man, with a great love of hunting and the outdoors, dogs and the history of Argentia, Naval Base. He will be remembered as a selfless one of a kind man. Forever loved and deeply missed by many. Leaving with happy memories: His wife Catherine "Kitty" Griffin, daughter Caity (Andrew), "Dads girl" Lacey, mother Anne Griffin, 7 brothers: Matt (Shirley), John (Sandy), Ronald (Donnie), Hilary (Joyce), Joe (Paula), Randall (Mike), and James. 5 sisters: Rosemary (Chris), Agatha (Gordon), Margaret (Charles), Geraldine (Jerry), and Hannah, 6 brothers-in-law, 5 sisters-in-law, as well a large circle of extended family, friends and co-workers. Reuniting with his father Matthew Griffin, grandparents Matthew and Margaret Griffin, Jack and Hannah Whittle, mother and father in law John and Bernadette Mulrooney. Special mention and very sincere thanks to his angel Carmel Collins and Lori Chafe. Cremation has taken place. No visitation. A private graveyard Service for family only at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Freshwater at a time to be given later "I'D RATHER BE HUNTING'"
