Uncle Martin will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul. He would often stay with our family in Ottawa and was a man of few words. My parents, Madeline and Denis, always made him feel welcome and part of the family during his short stays. He was a humble man and was finally able to settle down in Nfld for his final years. Special thanks to his sisters, Lucy and Rita, for their care and compassion. May he rest in eternal peace. Niece Paula (Ottawa).

Rest in peace uncle martin
I remember growing up you would arrive quietly in the night stay a while and then you were off again into the night.
I enjoyed the time we spent together when you lived in Toronto listening to your stories of your past and the places
you had been and worked our road trips to ottawa or visiting you on sundays.
always in our thoughts and prayers

We are remembering uncle Martin as a very humble, gentle soul.
Over the years it was a pleasure to visit him in the nursing home.
I can not go without mentioning mom and Aunt Rita’s unwavering support over the years!
