I was going to say this at the funeral but I couldn't so I decided to write here instead. So here it goes:
I am Joan youngest Sister and I live with Joan for 23 years in our family home and me and my son Nathan live with Joan for 6 months in Ship Harbour. Joan was my rock and did everything for me and my son Nathan during that 6 months but we have many memories also in Ship Harbour. She gave me a baby shower and meet Nathan in her house and what food did she have for everybody. Another time she ask me to go to store during a snow storm for Miracle Whip so I did but what I didn't know was I was going end up going to store 3 times cause I didn't get the right one. By the third time I was cold and wet and so when I came back from store I had all different kinds of Miracle Whip and said to her, Joan now if all those are wrong you will have go out in that snow storm and get them yourself. Will all she could do was laugh at me.
Joan was very good to me special when she let me and Nathan live with her for 6 months and she never ask when Nathan and I moving out or anything.
Joan was also very good to Nathan and Margaret; every time she see them she would give them money or gifts. She was Margaret favorite Aunt.
Also if you are ask for Dinner or Supper at Joan's will if you leave there hungry it will be your own fault not Joan cause she love cook and if you were getting full she would look at you and say what is wrong with it and you say nothing she would say will why did you stop eating? Cause I am full. That is way Joan was.
Thank you Joan for letting me and Nathan live with you and you I will never forget what you did for me and Nathan.
I love you Joan and I will always remember what you did for me and Nathan.
