Duke, Laura --October 10, 1924 - March 26, 2010 Passed peacefully away at her her home in Fox Harbour, P. Bay surrounded by her loving family Laura Duke, age 85 years. Predeceased by her husband Michael, son Desmond & daughter Patricia. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her 11 children Sally (Phil) Thompson, John (Mary ALice), Marie, Laura Anne, Madonna (Gary) Munden, Frank, Sandra, Andrew, Mary Anne (Trevor) Hughes, Michael (Christine) and Paul (Wanda), sister Veronica Davis, Massachusetts, her loving grandchildren Stephanie, Philip, Lisa, Maurice, Jeffrey, Stephen, Gary, Desi, Ryan, Anne, Michael, Julie, Joey, Donna, Lori, Michael, Christopher, Abigail, Adam & Amber, her adoring great grandchildren; Jacob, Max, Julia, Joe, Jack, Sam, Emma, Hannah, Marcu, Issac, Briannia, Sarah, Alicia & Nicholas, special friend Mary Best, and a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home on Sunday March 28, 2010 2-5 & 7-9, and on Monday March 29, 2010 from 10 - 12, Funeral Mass to take place on Monday March 29, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour, at 2 P.M., interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fox Harbour, Flowers gratefully accepted.
