Aunt Nora and Family,
I am so saddened about Uncle Johnny's passing. I truly thought the world of him as he was indeed a thoughtful, kind, generous man. I have pictures of your home, farm and land that I took a few years back. The reason I took the pictures was because I had such fond memories of vising all of you when we visited you in Cuslett. Something about it just made me feel so serene. I bought a cookbook just because I saw Uncle Johnny and Tammy in it and it just made me smile. He was indeed a very hard working man. My heart goes out to all of you. Rest in peace Uncle Johnny. Love to all,
Nora and David

Nora and family: It is with great sadness that I offer my condolences on the passing of such a wonderful man. I have so many fond memories of Johnny and my Dad. I have very fond memories of my hay making days in his meadow as he would always remind me that I was "some hand to work". As I raked the hay he always chatted with me and I was always amazed at his saying " hurry up but take your time", it's a verse I repeat very often in my house and always refer to Johnny with a chuckle when I say it. He always greeted me with " how's the white head Coffey today" and I will always remember him as a kind gentle man who seemed to always have a zest for life. He and Dad were great friends and we always looked forward to his visits. I hope you all take comfort in the fact that he lead a good honest life , a truly adorable man who thought of his family first and work hard to provide for them. May he rest in peace and may you find comfort in each other and all the good memories to get you through the days ahead. Take care of each other and God Bless. Thinking of you all, Ellen”

My deepest condolences Nora and family. Johnny is very much in my thoughts today. I always enjoyed his company and stories, especially those about his and dad's adventures in Churchill Falls. I'll never forget his kindness and good humour. And Aunt Josephine was so very happy to spend some time with him this past summer. A very special person. God bless you all. Cyril
