Anyone who grew up on the hill certainly knew Pete, from his days working for Jersey Side town council and beyond that, his days just driving around the town. To the Lynch family: So very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Our deepest condolences are sent your way today. I have many memories of your Dad as I wandered around JerseySide each day. He was always working, busy with a repair to a water line break or some other thing that needed fixing! A hole in the ground with water going everywhere was a great find for a young bored guy like me and many others as well. Your Dad was always in the middle of it and always knew what needed to be done and knew how to get it done. He was an important part of growing up in JerseySide and we all knew that if something wasn't working Pete would be there to make it right. Another fine man from the hill has moved on!
